These pictures were taken at Three Rivers Petroglyph National Recreational Site just north of Tularosa, New Mexico on US Highway 54. The pictures carved into the boulders converted a prehistoric hunting camp into an art gallery. The petroglyph with the bird in it has mountains in the background. They are the Sacramento Mountains, home of the Apache mountain spirit.
